The Fancy Sue on the Chisholm Trail 2014 quilt show will be held May 9-10, 2014, at the Stephens County Fairgrounds, 2002 South 13th Street, Duncan, OK 73533.
Come see over 150 quilts on display including a category for the Quilts of Valor. There will be many demonstrations going on each day all day as well as door prizes galore. The coffee can raffle includes a wonderful Ott floor lamp, Oliso iron, huge box of fat quarters, and a wooden quilt rack. Vendors will be available in every room of the fairgrounds offering need-to-have notions, patterns, and fabrics. A silent auction will be held every four hours offer new handmade items from guild members. Drop by the guild's marketeplace and pick up those Christmas items for your loved ones.
The raffle quilt is shown below. Many of you will recognize Sunbonnet Sue; however, we have chosen to call her Fancy Sue. The blocks in this queen size quilt were appliquéd by guild members with the beautiful machine quilting completed by Bush Family Affair/Quilts by Gail in Chickasha, OK. Tickets are available from guild members; one for $1.00 or six for $5.00. Drawing for the quilt will be held around 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 10, 2014.

The 4-H Chuckwagon will be open once again offering a delicious lunch for a reasonable price and supporting the Stephens County 4-H. Desserts will be provided, once again, by the Stephens County OHCE groups.
